In and surrounding areas of Tiruvannamalai, there are many unattended old age sick people wandering in public places. Some are more vulnerable with dreaded diseases lying on Platforms, vacant lands, bus stands, hospitals, near Trash bins, Railway stations etc. They have been dropped out by the concerned to get rid of them.
Thai Ullam Trust, will pick up them after enquiry and bring them to Trust Home. They will be given emergency treatment to bring them to senses and provide all assistance to them personally by founders itself to lead peaceful life till their last Breath. Thai Ullam Trust will also take care of their Funeral services after their death
In the last 6 years, they have taken care of more than 200 patients and allowed patients to die in peace & performed last rites to make the souls of patients to REST IN PEACE.
The founders are providing the following services totally Free of cost and meeting most of expenses from own funds and loans taken from friends

Picking up Sick and Bed ridden old age patients from Public places, Hospitals etc on the basis of enquiries received

Start Rescue operations like bringing them to senses and livable condition.

Provide clothes and separate bed for sleeping.

Provide Food 3 times daily with special care to suite their health conditions.

​Provide Medical check up every month and Emergency Medical services 24 hrs

Provide medicines under the prescription and guidance of licensed physician.

To offer last rites if any one died in the Trust home as most of the patients are coming in the state of mortality
